沖田×華（おきた・ばっか）さんのマンガ「透明なゆりかご」が連続ドラマ化され、2015年度後期のNHK連続テレビ小説（朝ドラ）「あさが来た」で女優デビューを果たした清原果耶さんが主演を務めることが12日、明らかになった。マンガは作者の経験を元に描かれた「真実の産婦人科医院物語」で、連ドラ初主演となる清原さんが主人公の見習い看護師を演じる。産婦人科の院長・由比役で瀬戸康史さん、アオイの母・史香役で酒井若菜さん、先輩看護師・紗也子役で水川あさみさん、婦長・榊役で原田美枝子さんも出演する。全10回で、7月20日からNHK総合で毎週金曜午後10時に放送される。
