The Fujian-Taiwan Relations History Museum built in the palace has a large collection of precious historical relics and folk relics. Quanzhou Tianhou Palace was built in the Southern Song Dynasty when Quanzhou Port gradually became the center of national foreign trade. It is an important historical site for studying overseas transportation history.
