《我的城》是一部记录城市凡人生活碎片，镜头下充满“凡人语录”的系列纪录片，也是中国少有的现实题材城市纪录片。首批拍摄了五座城市：北京、上海、成都、深圳和银川，描绘的是城市人特殊的“乡土情”。本片那些被纪录者，无论是北京篇里爱骑自行车的小伙，还是上海篇里卖啤酒的阿姨，或是成都篇里“二次元”装扮的小姐妹，或是深圳篇里大芬村（城中村）里的小画师，或是银川篇里卖羊杂的小老板，他们都是城市社会里人微言轻的小角色，所以他们脑海里没有城市定位、没有品牌宣传，有的只有活生生的现实：怎么活出自己的个性，活出味道来。一些生活碎片、闲谈碎语、生活片断，不经意间构成了城市的性格和精神、流露出对城市的理解与质疑。
倾城雪讲述的是明代江南两个刺绣之家的争斗及两家年轻人间的爱和恨。江家和杭家是苏州两个刺绣大户，专为皇帝缝制皇袍，由于竞争的关系，两家关系是面和心不和。杭家长子杭景枫一直默默爱着江家千金江嘉沅，但碍于家庭的关系，无法表白。杭景枫的父亲多年前与苗族姑娘徐瑾偷欢时生下私生子徐恨却把这个责任推给江嘉沅的父亲。徐恨由舅舅徐福带大，徐福誓要为徐恨讨回公道，带徐恨来到苏州，在徐福把江家搞得家破人亡的同时，江嘉沅也与徐恨产生了真挚的爱情，嘉沅怀上了徐恨的骨肉。这时徐福告诉徐恨他与嘉沅是亲兄妹，徐恨失手杀死了徐福，自己也由此入狱。嘉沅一个人带着徐恨的儿子艰难地生活，此时遇到了她生命中的第三个男人，一个有妻室的岭南富商方天羽，他将她纳为偏室。他的妻子起初无法接受嘉沅，但最终被嘉沅的诚心感动，临终前，同意将嘉沅扶正，而两人结婚的当晚，徐恨十分落魄地回来了，告诉嘉沅两人并不是亲兄妹。
