CBS早前宣布开发《生活大爆炸》衍生前传剧，現CBS确定命名为《少年谢尔顿 Young Sheldon》，顾名思义就是以Sheldon Cooper 为主角。但该剧不是Sheldon成年版，而是以他9岁时为背景，剧集也会以《马尔柯姆的一家 Malcolm in the Middle》的单镜头家庭喜剧方式制作，讲述Sheldon当年在德州东部的家庭及学校生活。Chuck Lorre与Bill Prady为主创兼执行制片﹑Steve Molaro﹑Todd Spiewak与在《生活大爆炸》饰演Sheldon的Jim Parsons为制作人兼执行制片。在过往剧情中，可得知Sheldon的家人包括哥哥George﹑异卵双胞胎姐妹Missy﹑有宗教信仰的妈妈Mary Cooper，以及酗酒的爸爸George Cooper。另外Sheldon还有外婆（Meemaw）及外公（Pop Pop），外公在Sheldon 5岁时去世。该剧由Jon Favreau执导， Iain Armitage将饰演年轻版的Sheldon Cooper﹑ Zoe Perry饰演其母亲Mary Cooper﹑Lance Barber饰演Sheldon的父亲﹑Raegan Revord及Montana Jordan饰演Sheldon的兄妹（姐？）﹑Annie Potts饰演外婆。

此次第十季总共包含了蓝色列车之谜、牌中牌、葬礼之后、遗产风云这四个故事。
段奕宏和薛佳凝在《大时代》中扮演的陈顶天和王清越是一对青梅竹马的恋人，从小学时相识，由5分钱生出纯真情愫，后因父母工作变动而天各一方。大学毕业，陈顶天走遍北京城寻找王清越，只为了兑现小时候的承诺：“我长大了一定要娶你！”
本作品的主人公是以提供食物素材和将食材提高到绝品的工匠为拍摄对象的年轻静止摄影师。剧中描绘了熟识的鳗鱼店厨师长引起的独立骚动，以及支撑着美味食物的人们的身姿。
