SP的故事发生在前作（2017年播出）3年后的江户。女料理人阿澪（黑木华 饰演）厨艺日益精湛，鹤屋的生意也越来越好。武士小松原（森山未來 饰演）和医生源斉（永山絢斗 饰演）是鹤屋的常客。某一天，武家的夫人早帆（佐藤めぐみ 饰演）突然来访，提出希望阿澪教她做料理的技巧。在種市（小日向文世 饰演）许可后，阿澪开始指导她。期间得知早帆的母亲因患肾病已不久于人世，凭借自己的聪慧与钻研精神，在源斉大夫的指导下，找出了帚木种子与料理组合的方式治病。而做出了帚木饭之后，阿澪却被早帆强行拉到自己的府邸，在那里等待着她的是早帆的母亲，也是小松原的母亲里津（富司純子 饰演）...。
