本剧围绕新任高中音乐教师新田正树和在其任教的班上担任副班长的学生和泉冴之间展开的原创纯爱故事。故事前半讲述前任教师失踪事件，描绘正树和冴关系加深的过程。后半讲述无法面对真心选择诀别的2人，5年后因为离奇实践再次相遇的故事。已婚的正树和成年的冴，变为了成年人间的外遇关系。
