此次外传的内容是《石之茧》事件之前发生了针对女性的连续杀人事件， 搜查一课锁定了犯罪嫌疑人野木直哉，而野木直哉是假名，其真实身份正是“昭岛母子绑架事件的”受害者八木沼雅人。改作描述青年八木沼怎样一步步最终变成了杀人鬼TOREMI的。
